The Stag is being beautifully restored and opens its doors after complete refurbishment on the 13th of June 2013. Of course, location counts and The Stag's couldn't be better. A great Old English Inn, it rests contentedly in the Warwickshire countryside that has been its home for hundreds of years. Yet it couldn't be easier to find as it sits proudly on the A46 between busy Stratford and sleepy Alcester, hunting this particular stag will be a doddle. Even better, there's plenty of parking as well as nine comfortable rooms that guarantee a relaxed stay. We offer free WIFI to all throughout as well as our fantastic breakfast menu is available from 7am until midday Monday to Friday and from 8am to midday Saturday and Sunday. Our extensive menu is served every day from midday until 10pm and on Sundays we serve a choice of mouth-watering Roasts from midday until 10pm. The Court Room at The Stag is also a great venue for private dining or conferences. It really is the perfect venue to host a private function for up to about 30 guests whether it's a birthday celebration, anniversary, engagement party, office dinner or simply a group of friends or family getting together for good food, fine wines and real ale. The team pride themselves on their Cask Conditioned Real Ales. Always available is Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale, with an ever changing guest. If Lager is your tipple we are one of the few bars in Warwickshire to serve Peroni on draught. Our Wine list is also available with a great choice of wines from around the world, sparkling wines and champagnes. Our friendly team and a relaxed atmosphere will ensure you have a fantastic time, and there are bedrooms available for those who want to make a real night of it.If you have guests coming a distance we can accommodate them in one of our lovely 9 en-suite guest rooms. If you need somewhere to lay your head whether it be just overnight or you need a few days away and you don't want the formality of a larger hotel then why not stay in our delightful rooms. With 5 double and 4 superior rooms to choose from, all with en-suite facilities you will be spoilt for choice.
